According to Spanish newspaper Sport, Gunners forward Alexis Sanchez has told the club he wants to leave to secure a move to Serie A champions Juventus.
Massimiliano Allegri's side are said to have made a £43million move for the Chile international, which was immediately turned down.
Juve are ready to return with an improved offer for the former Udinese and Barcelona man, who is apparently keen on forcing through a return to Italy.

Chelsea are reportedly looking to beat Arsenal to the signing of Wolfsburg defender Ricardo Rodriguez.

That is according to The Mirror, who claim the Blues are plotting a £22m bid for the Switzerland left-back after allowing Baba Rahman to join Schalke on loan.

Arsenal have been linked with the 23-year-old as Arsene Wenger looks to offload Kieran Gibbs, who has fallen behind Natcho Monreal in the pecking order.

Rodriguez recently hinted at a potential move to the north London club following the arrival of Swiss compatriot Granit Xhaka.

Shkodran Mustafi set for Arsenal medical on Monday

Italian journalist Emanuele Giulianelli claims Arsenal are closing in on the signing of Valencia defender Shkodran Mustafi.

The Gunners are said to have agreed a £25.9m fee for the centre-back, who is expected to arrive in London for a medical at the start of next week.

Giulianelli tweeted: "Arsenal: looks like Mustafi will be agreed tomorrow.

"Club were waiting to see if injury would heal as expected. Looks to be €30m (£25.9m) #afc.

"Mustafi medicals with Arsenal expected to be on Monday."
