Federal Inland Revenue Service FIRS Recruitment 2016 ApplyOnline Now
The FIRS recruitment 2016/2017 portal open today, this is in regards to what the Federal Inland Revenue Service FIRS, said a week ago that the FIRS will be recruiting about 1,250 staffs to fill up the vacant position all across the country.
According to reports, the Federal Inland Revenue has received its budget from President Mohammadu Buhari and the FIRS recruitment 2016 is to increase its workforce and achieved the desired results.
The Executive Director of the Federal Inland Revenue Service, FIRS, Fowler Babatunde said this last week at the National Assembly with the Senate committee on Finance.
Fowler Babatude said, Within the 2016 budget, we have made provision for the FIRS recruitment 2016 in terms of staff expansion and in the course of this recruitment we are making plans to recruit over one thousand two hundred and fifty persons.

He lamented over non-payment of tax by Nigerians, he said, “only ten per cent of Nigerians pay their tax and that is not a good thing for the country Nigeria”
He urged the House of Assembly to help the FIRS meet their target, “the Federal Inland Revenue Service, FIRS, needs all the help it can get from the House of Assembly at less than 10 per cent of VAT is remitted back to the state”
“If the people benefiting from Nigeria really love the country and take it as their own they would do the right thing by paying their taxes because in doing so we are empowering the government to provide service”
