Man finds baby cobra hiding in his shoe

A man in Southeast Asia wisely decided to check his shoes before putting them on and captured video of his discovery: a baby cobra.

The video, posted to YouTube, shows a man using a stick to poke the inside of his shoe, revealing it to be occupied.

The occupant is revealed to be a tiny, but deadly, baby cobra.
The cobra initially retreats into the shoe, but is eventually convinced to leave its footwear shelter behind.
Snakes and other creatures native to Southwest Asia are often found in odd places during the rainy season, when floods drive them out of their nests in search of drier pastures.
