PHILIPPE COUTINHO starts for Liverpool in the XI to face Spurs at White Hart Lane.

The Brazilian was an injury doubt before the game but Jurgen Klopp has named his star man in an attacking three behind Roberto Firmino.

Daniel Sturridge scored twice in midweek against Burton but has been dropped to the bench.
Joel Matip makes his first Premier League start in place of Ragnar Klavan while Emre Can misses out through injury.

For Tottenham, Vincent Janssen is replaced by Dele Alli.

Harry Kane captains the side with Hugo Lloris still out injured.
